A subtle but significant change is the introduction of Tokens as the primary reward currency. Instead of receiving packs or coins directly, playing Rivals, Squad Battles, or Champions now earns you “Festival of Football Tokens” and “FUT Champions Tokens.” You then exchange these tokens for specific rewards of your choice from player picks and evolution upgrades to exclusive cosmetics. It’s a move toward player agency, letting you target what you actually want rather than relying on pack luck.
The Festival of Football isn’t a one-day event it runs through the end of July. June 26 brings “Glory Hunter,” deepening PlayStyle Lab integration. July 10 features “Rising Stars” focused on young talents, and July 17 closes with “Summer Stars,” celebrating the tournament’s best performers.
