Core answer
This text describes WoW Forever Rogue updates to energy, combo points, poisons, and talent trees. Assassination may gain a stronger poison focus, while Subtlety retains potential for PvP and dagger-based play.
Core updates
The reported Rogue changes focus on smoother resource management and improved poisons. Energy will reportedly regenerate continuously, combo points will remain on their original target after switching, and Sap will no longer break stealth.
Poisons are said to gain more charges, scale with attack power, and work alongside temporary weapon enchants. Distract may also reduce an enemy’s stealth level, giving Rogues another tool against hidden opponents.
Talent trees
Each Rogue specialization reportedly has a clearer role. Assassination emphasizes poison damage and daggers, Combat keeps its familiar melee approach, and Subtlety gains further support for Rupture and dagger attacks.
The text describes Mutilate as an Assassination combo-point builder and Venom as a new talent that boosts poison damage and application and cheap WoW Forever Gold. Combat’s weapon specializations are reportedly consolidated, with Rogues able to use axes. Subtlety talents improve attacks such as Ambush and Rupture.
These changes could create more build options, but their actual impact depends on final tuning and gameplay.
Leveling and PvP
The report suggests Rogues may have more leveling options while retaining familiar PvP strengths. Subtlety offers utility and dagger-focused play, Assassination may benefit from poison scaling, and Combat is described as closer to its Vanilla style.
The text’s author prefers Subtlety for leveling, citing its utility and damage. Rogues may still need to manage effects such as Rupture and maintenance buffs while moving between enemies.
For PvP, the report expects control-focused Rogue builds to remain useful. Keeping combo points when switching targets could make it easier to use abilities such as Blind without losing accumulated points.
