Step-by-Step Quest Walkthrough
1. Enter a Nightmare Dungeon with a Horadric Strongroom
To begin, you must enter a Nightmare Dungeon that includes a Horadric Strongroom. These dungeons are only accessible via special Nightmare Sigils that have the Strongroom affix.
Look for or craft Nightmare Sigils that guarantee this modifier.
Alternatively, revisit the dungeon from The Truth That Lies Within if you didn’t fully explore the Strongroom there.
2. Locate and Complete the Horadric Strongroom
Inside the dungeon:
Search the area until you find the Strongroom gate.
Enter the Strongroom and begin the timed challenge event.
Inside the Strongroom:
Defeat waves of enemies to fill a progress meter before time runs out.
Interact with Shrines and Ritual Pillars to gain powerful boons and accelerate your progress.
Once the timer expires, a mini-boss named Agony will spawn for a two-phase encounter.
Boss Fight: Agony
Agony is a fast, high-damage enemy that blends Fire and Poison attacks. The fight is divided into two phases:
Phase 1:
Attacks include explosive fireballs and area denial fire zones.
Poison zones create dangerous territory and cause damage over time.
Tips:
Keep moving to avoid fire and poison zones.
Use burst AoE skills to control enemy adds quickly.
Phase 2 (Triggered at 25% HP):
