Another tip, don’t use strafe/ backup to dodge. MOVE your camera opposite and press holding W is the fastest way to dodge Dark And Darker Gold.
Barbarian = level 15 + Savage roar (only used to GET to the boss) + Rage Best weapons for me were either felling axe or pistache? (forgot the name the long 2 handed pole axe) If either were white in store id buy and use. The pole axe made it extremely easier cause of the extra range. I also always had a FULL (6 slots) of Francesca’s when possible via shop. Not always available though. While he did his shout is when i would toss em from afar.
Rogue = lvl 5 + ( poisoned weap + lockpick are needed) + Rupture + Weakpoint. ofcourse i was lvl 20 rogue but thinking about it lvl 5 plus can do it easily (not easily) since nothing scales with level yet. First failed attemps… probably like 50 tries all deaths. I even recruited people while running to boss on Comms ” IM going to the boss come and help if you want” some did, one did not like it and killed me and died to troll after lol. most ignored me or let me pass freely. After my achieved kill with barbarian i was finally more patient with rogue and would only go for 2-3 hits instead of being greedy. If you are using a grey weapon. you WILL NOT finish the boss before the room or part of the room is taken away from you. You WILL die in 1 hit by all of his attacks (unless you jump and he hits ur feet and u live with literal 1 hp) Unlike barbarian the free attacks are way harder to his with rogue unless you are using a rapier. Limit the combo to 3 no matter the weapon regardless of hitting and run past his right arm (*his left from our POV*) to restart his 1 upward swing pattern.
Ranger was the easiest class to kill it after i learned the tempo with barbarian and rogue. As it had infinite arrows + 2 skill resets. And you can shoot it instead of have a chance to make him chain his attacks. ( i hear arrows are changing so this will no longer be an easy task for ranger)
Wizard = impossible for me with hard limits on spells Dark And Darker Gold for sale
. Troll regen so even if u left the room to meditate basically lost most of your work.
