In the same way it does every month, Sony has announced the most downloaded titles on the PlayStation Store for September 2022. These lists highlight the most played PS4, PS5, PS VR as well as free-to-play games for the month FIFA 23 coins, both in North America and Europe, and there’s not a lot on the horizon this month.
Beginning with PS5 Games, NBA 2K23 was the most downloaded game on PSN in September in North America, while FIFA 23 was the top video game on the PSN in Europe (which comes as no surprise given how widely played soccer is in Europe). Another new game for September, The Last of Us Part 1 is ranked as third in both regions.
In the transition to PS4, NBA 2K23 was top-downloaded game this month across the US and Canada, while FIFA 23 came in at the top spot in Europe. When it comes to PSVR gaming, Beat Saber was the top. 1 game in both North America and Europe, with Job Simulator and Superhot VR being ranked second and third in both regions.
Free-to-play games on PS5 and PS4 together, Fortnite was the most-downloaded game in the US and Canada and Canada, while Rumbleverse was the most popular free-to-play game across Europe.
