Second, its synergy with corpses – Bonestorm can consume nearby corpses to power itself up, giving you a big temporary damage boost and restoring some of your life. This means that when fighting packs of monsters, you are almost self-sustaining.
The art of gearing and skill linksWhen it comes to gear, you might expect to need a bunch of high-priced uniques – but that is not the case. Early on, focus on a few key stats. Casting speed and stun immunity while channelling are vital to keep your storm uninterrupted. Then, look for physical damage bonuses and damage over time increases – these directly pump up your output. For weapons, a staff or sceptre with high physical base damage will serve you well. As for armour, we are not going pure life pool here. The survival trick for this build is “evasion” and “block”. Find gear with high evasion, and use your passive tree to grab key spell block nodes. 1. Against agile bosses: Take the chapter two forest king that jumps around like a monkey. Do not chase him – that is rookie behaviour. Plant yourself in the middle of the arena and start channelling Bonestorm. Use your movement skill (like Dash) for short dodges when needed. He will bounce around but eventually end up inside your storm. His health is low enough that two or three cycles will finish him off.
2. Against heavy-hitters: Think of the chapter four stone giant. His attack wind-up is obvious – when you see him lift that massive arm, you have plenty of time to react. With high evasion and block, you can take a hit or two without worry. The key is to exploit his recovery time after an attack. When he slams the ground, there is about a two-second pause – that is your golden damage window. Trigger the Vaal version of Bonestorm here for a massive burst.
3. Against projectile-spamming bosses: These test your movement the most. The beauty of Bonestorm is you do not have to hug them. Keep a mid-range position so the edge of your storm clips them, and focus on dodging the projectiles. Remember – staying alive is the priority. This build’s damage is already high enough that you do not need to risk it for a few extra seconds of output.

It is strong, yet simple to play, making it perfect for those tired of overly complex rotations but still wanting to take on tough content. The progression feels smooth – from early levelling to high-end maps, you will notice your character’s power growing at every stage.
