Temis is where a Tower attempt stops feeling like routine endgame play and starts feeling like a test of nerve. The Artificer’s Obelisk opens the door, but a Tier 130-plus Seasonal Solo Self Found run asks for more than a big character-sheet number. Even a well-stocked set of D4 items won’t carry careless decisions. With classes such as the Warlock in the mix, players need to read rooms quickly, manage risk, and know when a run has already slipped away. The best Artificer Caches usually go to players who don’t waste seconds pretending every floor is worth saving.
Pick the Right Floor
At high tiers, the Tower’s random rolls matter as much as your build. Wide spaces let you pull packs together, keep momentum, and turn area damage into real progress. Tight passages do the opposite. You’ll spend too long chasing stragglers or getting boxed in by enemies that refuse to line up. It’s common to enter, take one look at the layout, and leave straight away. That isn’t laziness. It’s smart time management. Monster types matter too: quick, fragile packs are usually worth your attention, while bulky Tide Flesh Harvesters and Morlu Champions can drain the clock for very little return.
Push Setup Versus Farm Setup
A speed-farming setup can feel great outside the Tower, then fall apart once incoming hits become serious. A pushing setup gives up some pace for sturdier defences, stronger boss pressure, and reliable recovery. Before a serious climb, get Paragon points sorted, raise Glyphs to the Season 13 rank 50 limit, finish Masterworking, and secure the Mythic Uniques your build actually needs. Horadric Cube Transfigurations can also swing a close attempt. They’re a gamble, sure, but a useful affix or gem-strength boost may be enough to cross a tier you’d otherwise miss.
Quick Value Check
Target | Usual value | Practical call.
Hellhound swarms | Fast progress | Pull them into larger packs.
Tide Flesh Harvesters | Slow progress | Move on unless the pull is already huge.
Shielded or Life Link elites | Can stall the fight | Take them only with plenty of nearby enemies.
Power Pylon near elites or a Goblin | Major burst window | Gather first, then activate.
Make the Timer Work
Small fights are a trap for most area-focused builds. Spend a few moments pulling two or three screens of enemies, then clear them in one heavy exchange. Don’t pull an elite pack so far that it returns to its starting point, though. The two-minute elite arrival is another useful rhythm. Try to be fighting an elite group or Treasure Goblin when it appears, so both packs feed the same burst window. In Guardian arenas, a Power Pylon is especially valuable: draw the boss beside it before clicking. Players who prepare that moment, rather than rushing it, get far more from cheap Diablo 4 Items and from every second of the buff.
