His lair, the Infested Tower, stands as both monument and warning an architectural corpse overtaken by parasitic life. Within its crumbling halls, poe2 trade delivers one of its most atmospheric and punishing encounters, fusing lore, environment, and combat into a single grotesque crescendo.
Before his fall, Jamanra was celebrated as a warrior-king of the southern highlands, famed for uniting scattered tribes against the Vaal. Chronicles describe him as proud yet just, guided by visions of a radiant crown said to be forged by the gods. In truth, that crown was a relic of nightmare origin an artifact that whispered through the ages, promising power in exchange for servitude.
When the Black Spirit Plague first swept across Wraeclast, Jamanra sought the crown’s protection for his people. Instead, the relic’s tendrils rooted into his mind, twisting loyalty into hunger. The king slaughtered his own priests and offered their bodies as vessels for the creeping infection that now bears his name. Legends claim that the earth itself sealed him inside his citadel, leaving only the crown’s pulse echoing beneath the stone.
Centuries later, exiles wandering the new campaign of Path of Exile 2 stumble upon that buried fortress. The Infested Tower is no longer a tomb it is a hive.
The Tower emerges in Act 3 as a labyrinthine dungeon carved into the ribcage of a mountain. Its outer walls crawl with resinous growths that glow faintly when disturbed, hinting at the life pulsing inside. The developers have described the zone as a “living structure,” and it truly feels that way. Corridors flex with organic motion; fungal fibers pulse to the rhythm of unseen hearts.
Exploration here emphasizes verticality. Spiral staircases collapse into pits of chittering larvae, while living tendrils bridge gaps between platforms. Players encounter new enemy archetypes the Crownspawn, hybrid undead whose heads have fused with shards of Jamanra’s corrupted relic. Each one shares a fragment of his consciousness, shrieking verses of his old battle hymns POE 2 Chaos Orbs for sale while charging the player in suicidal bursts.
