The Kortz Center heist is less about rushing the vault and more about knowing the building before the alarms start. A careful scope-out gives you better routes, more loot choices, and fewer nasty surprises. Start with the Security RoomOnce inside the museum, head towards the staff-only door near the large mountain portrait. Watch the guard, then wait for the camera to swing away. Move through quietly and deal with the guard before he can call anyone. Use the computer to access the camera system, then open the feed marked Vault 91/5SF2. Turn the view until La Dernière Débauche is clearly visible. Take a moment to sweep the feed from side to side, too. The lockboxes and nearby paintings are easy to miss if you leave the camera in its default position.
The surveillance screens are worth checking properly. The Loading Bay can reveal guard shipments and a service route. The maintenance feed points towards the sewer approach, while the upper exhibition cameras show the roof and a locked room that needs more than one player. Do not snap one rushed photo of two display cases and assume both have registered. Center each item separately and wait for the game to confirm it.
Record Every Useful EntranceThere are four practical entry points: the Staff Entrance, Loading Bay, Sewer, and Skylight. Photograph the staff door outside, then visit the garage doors at the bottom of the parking ramp for the loading route. In the hedge maze, look for the sewer manhole. The skylight is on the Bell Building roof. You will quickly notice that the roof is a handy place to handle several jobs at once.

If the sewer is part of your plan, search the nearby construction areas for the manhole key. It can sit near a toolbox, workbench, wall, or stacked materials, so do not rely on one fixed spawn. The main vault painting is currently listed at GTA$1,925,000, while several vault paintings offer strong secondary value. Still, the most expensive item is not always the smartest pickup. Distance, bag space, guards, and special equipment all count.
Solo players should focus on the primary artwork and a short list of high-value pieces. A two-person crew can open the secured upper room and carry more loot, although the payout is split. Larger teams can clear more exhibits, but extra players also mean more coordination and more chances to ruin stealth. Keep the escape route in mind before touching the vault. Weekly bonuses, repeat-sale reductions, buyer requests, crew cuts, and detection can all change the amount you receive, so a clean first run is usually the one worth protecting.
